MATCHA GREEN TEA - Ceremonial Grade 30g

Regular price $30.00

For all the lovers of  an intensely rich matcha latte experience, Numero Uno invites you to try our latest addition of green tea, but in an easy to use grounded powder preparation.

This finely ground powder made from premium grade green tea leaves has been specially grown and processed under  a shade-grown environment for 3 to 4 weeks  before it is harvested.

This “latte-grade” matcha is grown in Kagoshima, Japan and is certified organic.  It is not like other ordinary powders, because it blends with milk harmoniously  while it retains its intense green colour.  It can also be used on its own without milk, where you just add hot water.

This process adds the forming of chlorophyll and L-Theanine. L-Theanine makes Matcha sweeter, but also has a calming effect. While it has a calming affect, it also maintains its caffeine energy properties that naturally occur during the shading process.  It is high six times more higher in antioxidants than goji berries with high concentrations of catechins.

Appearance: fine, bright green powder

Liquor: added to milk or milk alternative, green, frothy, creamy texture
Taste: with milk or milk alternative, baby spinach, green apple, double-cream

*NB: Keep airtight and store in freezer to maintain freshness
