Ours begins in a suburban backyard. As the daughter of Italian immigrants, our founder Gina Di Brita learned early that good food was more than sustenance. It was a way of bringing people together.
After 13 years of award-winning farming in Far North Queensland, life took an unexpected turn. Starting fresh with three young daughters, Gina discovered her calling in coffee, founding Numero Uno in 2003.
Today, that same spirit of connection and quality lives on in every bean we roast. From our signature Picasso blend—still our most popular after 21 years—to our direct partnerships with small coffee growers, we're committed to coffee that makes a difference.
