Finca La Esperanza is an 87-hectare farm that sits at 1,300 to 1,460 meters above sea level in El Salvador’s stunning Apaneca-Ilamatepeq Mountain Range. The farming techniques used to manage soil diseases and encourage better coffee tree root systems is through the use of natural bacteria (Trichoderma) and fungus while promoting healthy foliage by primarily pruning and renovating the trees. These traditional management skills have allowed the farm to achieve stable harvests over time.
