Honduras, Finca Los Cedro - Natural Process
Finca Los Cedros, owned by the Eguigurems Family, is located in the Guinope el Parais region of Honduras. A total of 8 hectares of the 10 hectare farm has been planted with coffee, the remaining 2 hectares has been left as bioreserve.
Finca Los Cedros is part of the LIFT program providing comprehensive onsite training and technical training to small farmers. This allows higher production, improved quality of yields and better livelihood.
Only ripe cherries (red wine level) for this particular lot have been collected and carefully de-pulped. They are then dried on raised ‘African beds’ resulting in a complex cup profile.
