From the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, Arokara is grown across a large number of small traditional "coffee gardens" rather than by big, centralised plantations. These coffees are harvested by the small communities that tend to these gardens before being collected by larger coops for sorting and processing.
Arokora is an excellent example of quality, Papua New Guinean coffee with a rich, milk chocolate and caramel sweetness and a light tangerine acidity. Arokora is excellent as espresso with it's deep texture and sweetness shining through.Â
